Lost Leonardo purportedly worth $200 million found by a group of Art investors to go on display at London’s National Gallery in November.

Due to Gallery policy, the painting will not be for sale.

“The National Gallery does not display paintings when they are for sale,” the museum said in an e-mail yesterday. “Any painting for sale is removed from display and returned to the owner, following a standard procedure for returning a loan picture.”

The painting was purchased in 1958 from the estate of British collector Frederick Cook for 45 pounds ($72) and has been hiding in an American collection until its recent unveiling.
